What is Cabfix?
Cabfix is an on-demand taxi booking service that allows everyone to search, compare, book and pay taxi services online or through your smartphone . Cabfix connects users of taxi’s with our network of professional taxi operators in an effective, quick and safe way.

We work with the largest providers in their local area who operate modernized fleets with leading technological capability. We engage in deep technical integration with the providers to ensure that your bookings and payments are linked directly to their internal systems to ensure reliable, quality service.
There are lots of taxi websites, why should I use Cabfix?
Cabfix allows you to search, find, compare and book taxis from a range of fully licensed taxi operators to give you the best possible choice. Our unique real-time system avoids the potential delays and errors of telephone bookings, and provides electronic confirmation for all airport transfers booked. On top of this you will receive considerable savings on your taxi travel as taxi operators compete for your bookings.
Who do I call if there is a problem?
Once you have booked your journey you will receive a confirmation email with the contact details for the taxi company you have booked. The taxi company is responsible for fulfilling the booked journey and hence any problems or quries should be taken up with them directly.

What's the best way to contact Cabfix?

If you feel you need to speak with us by phone, let us know and email us with your phone number and question/issue and we will get back to you. We're very good at responding to emails quickly, so don't hesitate to reach out!
What Cities are you Operating in?
Right now, Cabfix is only operating in London, though we're excited to expand to other major cities in the near future. Check out for updates.
Can I request more than one car?
Not as of yet, but you can make more than one booking.
Is Cabfix Safe?
Yes. All of the taxi operators and drivers who provide services through Cabfix are licensed! We require proof of every taxi operator’s PCO license issued by the London Public Carriage Office. In addition to having the proper licenses, we've implemented a rating system for our taxi service providers. If their rating goes beneath a certain level, we will remove them from our taxi booking network. We're careful to maintain a standard of only doing business with quality, licensed taxi operators.
Is my privacy safe with Cabfix?
Other services actually show your specific location to the drivers!!! We don't. Your safety is of upmost important to us, which is why we only use quality taxi operators in safe cars.
Also: All of the taxi operators who use Cabfix ARE licensed. You'll never be picked up by an unlicensed driver. Ever!
How do I see my bookings?
To see your booking history, simply log into your account and click My Trips. You'll have access to the details of all your past and future trips including date, time, pick-ups, taxi service providers, rating and fare.
I forgot my password! Not a problem. Visit the sign-in page and click on the forgot password link. Type in your email, and we'll send you the link to reset your password.
What's the Cancel Policy?
You can cancel any bookings through the My Trips page. Any late cancellations may result in a late cancellation fee.
Should I tip my driver?
You can provide a tip at your own discretion. We do recommend you review your trip through Cabfix.
What type of vehicles do you have?
We provide an online taxi booking service and do not operate vehicles of our own. The choice of vehicle will depend on which taxi company you choose in our booking system - anything from a standard saloon car to an MPV or chauffeured limousine.
I'm receiving a refund. How many days will it take to process?
Refunds issued to credit cards may take about 5-7 business days to be processed.
I live in the North London but the system has offered me a taxi company in South London. Can I still book it?
Yes. You can choose any quote or taxi service provider offered on Cabfix. It is your choice and you can choose on preference or requirements.
Are my personal details safe?
Your personal details are stored securely in our database and are only used for providing you the Cabfix service. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.
Is the website secure?
Cabfix uses industry-standard https encryption to keep communication of private information secure between your browser and our servers, all of which are housed in a secure UK data centre.
Who is responsible for my travel?
The taxi provider you choose will be solely responsible for your travel. Cabfix is an online booking platform, not a transport provider. We DO NOT own or operate any vehicles
I've seen a better quote on a competitor site. Can Cabfix match it?
Cabfix does not set any fares on the site - you see the best fares currently available from our taxi operator members.
The screen says my booking was successful but I haven't received the confirmation e-mail. What should I do?
Check that the message has not been blocked by any anti-spam tools, and that messages from the domain 'cabfix.com' are allowed through. You can always resend the confirmation email from your online Cabfix account.
What if I have booked my taxi with the wrong details?
Simply go to the My Trips page and you can edit your booking.
Can I book a taxi through Cabfix by telephone?
No, all bookings must be made using our secure online web system.
When do I pay for my taxi ride?
You will pay for your taxi through Cabfix’s secure online payment system. No payments to the driver are required.
I'm travelling for business purposes. How can I get a receipt?
You will receive an email trip confirmation receipt, which you can access also access from the My Trips page.
How do I find my car when my flight arrives?
This will depend on the services offered by your chosen taxi service provider. The services they offer (such as a 'meet and greet' service) are shown alongside your search results when you make your booking. In all cases you and the taxi service provider will have each other's contact details, so you can call them if there is a problem.
What if my booked taxi never arrives?
Once your taxi is confirmed through Cabfix, you should communicate directly with the relevant taxi provider, whose details you will receive in the booking confirmation email. We strongly recommend that you are at the designated pick place at the scheduled time and if you require to make changes to your booking, you do that as soon as possible.
If your taxi booking is not completed and you require a refund you will have to submit a “Request a Trip Review”.
Why should I use your payment system?
Our payment system is more secure and reliable than handling money on your own. We protect both parties from fraud and illicit behaviors. Please do not send payment to the host outside of the site. This is against our Terms of Use, and prevents us from being able to protect your payment. Our system is specifically set up so that your money is safe until you have successfully completed your trip.
How do I pay upon arrival? I don't feel comfortbable paying up front
For bookings done through Cabfix, the payment for booking (which includes a booking fee) is collected in full when the taxi is booked.
Cabfix then holds onto this payment until 72 hours after the taxi booking is completed unless notified otherwise by the client or by the taxi operator.
What payment methods can I use?
Cabfix accepts all major debit and credit cards.
My credit card is not working. What do I do?
Cabfix accepts all major credit cards. Be sure that you have entered all of your information correctly and that your card is not expired. If it still does not work contact us on the contact page.
